About Us

Betty's Wedding Designs opened for business in 1985 as a full service bridal salon in Delaware County, located at 153 E. Baltimore Pike in Clifton Heights, PA and has been serving the various bridal needs for over 20 years. Our reputation and success was achieved by offering a wide selection of designer bridal gowns, bridesmaids' gowns and mother's gowns at great prices accompanied with attentive and personalized customer service.

Pursuant to our continued success in Delaware County, Betty’s daughter, Barbara expanded the marketing efforts in 2003 to reach Montgomery, Bucks and Philadelphia counties and opened the second store, "Betty's Bridal II."  Due to the tremendous support of the customers, Betty’s Bridal II has expanded again and is now located at 1061 Easton Road, Abington, Pa. We have also added the most comprehensive selection of tuxedos to rent for your special occasion.

Betty and Barbara travel to the New York, Atlanta, Chicago and Los Angeles bridal markets to personally choose the best bridal and bridesmaids’ lines to fit your style and budget.  Make an appointment to see what is new!

 

Store Policies

• To purchase a bridal gown half down or full payment is needed at time of measuring and any balance is due when gown arrives. We will store your gown for free if needed. All gowns must be paid in full before an alteration appointment can be made.
  
  
• To purchase a bridesmaid dress it is a $100 down or full payment at time of measuring and any balance due when gown arrives. If getting measured elsewhere, please use a professional. Supply measurements online at www.bettysbridal.com. Designer gowns can run up to two sizes larger than regular store sizes. Once orders are placed, manufacturers’ do not allow any changes to size, color or style.
  
  
• Tuxedo payments are due at time of measuring. All tuxedos should be ordered at least one month before wedding. All tuxedos include your choice of jacket, pants, shirt, tie, vest, cuff links and shoes. Tuxedos are due back the next business day after event. There is a $25 late fee assessed for each day that the tuxedo has not been returned. Credit card information will be required to rent a tuxedo. Out of town men can supply measurements at www.bettysbridal.com (Abington only)
  

Alterations are done on the premises at additional fees and are not included in the price of the gown.

Gowns not picked up by wedding date will be donated.

Betty’s Bridal accepts Cash, Visa, Mastercard and Discover. NO CHECKS.
